Islam is Beautiful on Ikim.FM

A few days ago, I asked a good friend that I miss writing but I seem to have run out of things to write about. The friend also perli that my customers don't really want to read about fashion (baiklah saya stop cerita pasal fesyen). This morning was my rezeki to listened to Prof Muhaya segment on Ikim.fm and is (as always) so inspired by her wisdom. So, here's the sharing is caring part.

The three things that each and everyone of us must do and practice and jadikan tabiat :

Tabiat ialah perkara yang menjadi kebiasaan seperti gosok gigi. Kalau tak gosok, rasa macam tak kena. (Ini pun Prof explain)

1. Buat/Tulis Skrip Kehidupan
Bayangkan siapa yang kita nak jadi, lakonkan watak itu tapi in real life kita jadikan kenyataan.

2. List down Top 10 Goals
Goals ni harus mengikut peringkat umur, sebab lain peringkat umur, lain benda yang hendak dicapai.
For eg, if you're 40 and you aim to perform Hajj by 41.

3. Jurnal Kesyukuran
Sebab-sebab untuk bersyukur pada setiap hari. This one, semua orang patut tahu macam mana kot.

Below are the key points yang teringat dan sempat tulis :

1. Adakah kita cari makan ataupun mencari kehidupan
11. Jaga hubungan dengan Allah, hubungan dengan manusia
12. Jaga aurat
13. Sayangi anak, peluk dan puji anak
14. Didik anak terutama sekali dalam mendirikan solat
15. Berdakwah dengan menunjukkan akhlak yang baik
16. Percakapan menunjukkan sikap kita, sikap menggambarkan emosi, emosi menunjukkan pemikiran kita.

Ada banyak lagi tapi the above ni paling membuat rasa seperti baru lepas minum air 100 Plus. Rasa segar sangat. Oh she also said that kita kena ajar anak-anak seawal umur pandai menulis untuk menulis skrip kehidupan dan list down top 10 goals.

Prof Muhaya will be at a Festival (not yet google the full event name because too excited to write all the above takut lupa) this weekend :

Forum Cinta
Moderator : Imam Muda Asyraf (tak kenal? sila google)
Panelist : Prof Dr Muhaya & Ustaz Zaharuddin
Date : 23 October 2011 (Sunday)
Venue : Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam

She also said forum ni sesuai untuk remaja, so adik2 yang baru nak berkenalan dengan cinta, sesuailah pegi. Tak semestinya remaja kot, I think sesiapa yang curious tentang Cinta as a whole boleh pegi dengar. Bak kata ustaz, dengar majlis ilmu, seolah-olah berada dalam taman syurga.

Hai..taknak ke pegi taman syurga?

(saya baru tau Prof Muhaya ialah seorang doktor mata)

The day our shop was full with people in uniforms

I am not very excited to post the photos from this event but I owe it to my staff who told her son that I will be uploading the picture of his mother so that he can view and show it to the people back home. Apparently, since the first time I showed my staff the picture of our shop on the Internet, I was requested to post more photos of our shop rather than non-related pictures (oh well)

The event was in conjunction of Program Bandar Selamat, a project under Kementerian Perumahan & Kerajaan Tempatan and is taken under the wing of Jabatan Perancangan Bandar. If you haven't notice, they have installed mirrors at the back alleys to help prevent snatch theft and other papan tanda as well. TTDI was chosen to be the pioneer of this program and 5 to 6 other bandar will follow suit.

So, they have chosen our place for the press conference that lasted nearly 20 minutes. The minister however, sarcastically opened the floor by saying in a fluent Malay with Kedah slang "Semua soalan yang awak semua nak tanya dah ada dalam buku program, saya taktau awak nak tanya apa lagi? " and the room was filled with laughter but that doesn't stop reporters from bombarding the minister. If you ask me, this was the first time I've heard or seen the minister's face (highly likely because I seldom watch the news) but I assumed this is the kind of minister who is not keen on being famous. He gets his hands dirty. Cewah.

As for us at Ruz Aladdin TTDI, this is our debut event held where the guest list includes VVIPs, DBKL, orang2 kuat TTDI Residence Association (jangan main2) and of course the media. Around 100 people were present that we had to put up a tent for 30-40 people outside of our little shop.

Our  special thank you to Zuliana & Ismah from NKRA and Inspektor Jamil (Ketua Balai Polis TTDI), for the opportunity to be a part of this event. Good luck in your next road show.
